‘FREVA’ fire retardant film offers high light transmission and enhanced diffusion characteristics, together with flame resistant properties. It is available in widths of 9.2m, 12m and 14m and is particularly suitable for garden centres and retail areas where it is necessary to provide a good environment for plants (and people!) and to meet fire regulations. Visqueen ‘Freva’ is certified to BS 7837: 1996. Key properties of the film are: Thickness 180 microns Light transmission 83-85% Haze 90-98% Testing indicates that the flame retardant additives have no adverse effects on the life expectancy of ‘Freva’. A lifetime of three years is guaranteed, but bearing in mind that garden centres and the like are not subject to the most aggressive of weathering conditions, the period of use should exceed this.
