Contractor enjoys balewrapping bonus

News picture. An agricultural contractor from mid-Wales is celebrating his success after winning a pallet of premium quality silage balewrap. Tom Price, who works with farmers across the Radnorshire area of Powys, scooped the 40 reels of Silotite® after entering a free prize draw on the bpi.agri stand at this year’s Grassland UK.

Firmly established as a world’s leading balewrapping film, Silotite is used to wrap in excess of 50 million bales across 50 countries on 6 different continents every year. Underpinning this impressive global success is its multi-layer construction which ensures superior levels of strength, its two-sided tack which contributes to an enhanced air tight seal and its inbuilt UV protection, which prevents film degradation even when exposed to strong sunlight.

Speaking of his free pallet of Silotite which was presented to him by leading agricultural supplies business and Silotite stockist, Wynnstay, Tom said: “Winning the free pallet of Silotite is fantastic. I’d previously used a different brand of balewrapping film but I’ve already been converted by Silotite’s ease of use and by the fact that it wraps bales perfectly time after time.”

bpi.agri also enjoyed its own particular success at Grassland UK. The manufacturer has revealed its Silotite film was actually used by the event organisers to wrap all the bales around the show site as well as by a number of balewrapping machinery manufacturers for their product demonstrations. These manufacturers included both Tanko and McHale.

Commenting, Louise Yates, Marketing Manager at bpi.agri said: “We’re delighted that Silotite was the product of choice for Grassland UK. It speaks volumes that when the chips are down and the eyes of their customers are upon them, machinery manufacturers turn to our balewrapping film. There’s perhaps no bigger testament to its consistency, reliability or performance.”

“We’d also like to congratulate Tom on his win and to thank everyone else who entered our Grassland’s prize draw.”
