bpi.agri backs Welsh sheep farmers

News picture.Highlighting the strength of its commitment to Welsh sheep farmers, leading manufacturer of silage balewrap and clamp sheets, bpi.agri has revealed plans to attend NSA Welsh Sheep 2009.

Taking place on the 19th May at Cernioge Bach, Pentrefoelas, Betws y Coed, this one day technical event, which is staged by the National Sheep Association, aims to provide networking opportunities and insight into the latest new developments within the sheep farming industry. Now an annual occurrence, it typically attracts several thousand attendees including flockmasters, Government policy makers, breed societies, the media, product manufacturers and service providers.

bpi.agri’s presence will consist of a special roadshow trailer where visitors will be able to discover more about the manufacturer’s globally proven product range. In particular, the bpi.agri team will be promoting Silotite® - the world’s leading balewrap currently used to wrap over 40 million bales across 50 countries on 6 different continents every year.

The exceptional popularity of Silotite stems from its ability to offer trouble-free wrapping on both round and square bales and from its advanced performance characteristics. This includes a multi-layer construction for increased resistance to punctures and tears, and a unique two-sided tack, which contributes to an enhanced bale seal.

Commenting on the manufacturer’s plans, Kate Davis, Press and Events Officer at bpi.agri, said: “bpi.agri values the custom of all those individuals and organisations who use our products. People may think this refers primarily to dairy and beef farmers but we also recognise that sheep farmers are just as important.

“We look forward to spending time with these key customers and to listening to the challenges they face as well as to their views on our products. This feedback is invaluable in ensuring our continued ability to provide highly effective, highly focused solutions to their needs.”
