It’s a wrap – agricultural contractor declared the winner ….

Leading manufacturer of agricultural films, bpi.agri has revealed the winner of the prize draw to win a free pallet of Silotite balewrap it recently staged at Grassland & Muck 08. The lucky winner is agricultural contractor Phil Benson of Phil Benson Contracting in Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

Phil is an old hand at balewrapping having wrapped bales since 1986 when the practice was in its infancy. Delighted with the result, especially at this time of year; the height of the bale wrapping season, Phil will find this extra pallet very useful just now as he and his team are busy wrapping thousands of bales to ensure a plentiful supply of quality silage for next winter.

Commenting on his win, Phil said: “To win an entire pallet for free is great. When you wrap as many bales as we do each year every pallet counts.”

Known for its combined benefits of strength, reliability and ease of use, Silotite is currently used in over 50 different countries annually. bpi.agri attributes Silotite’s success to innovative features like a multi-layer construction, in-built UV defences and a two-sided tack which provides a better seal between film layers. Louise Yates, Marketing Manager, bpi.agri said: “We staged this competition as a way of giving something back to farmers and agricultural contractors. Congratulations to Phil and thank you to everyone else that entered.”
