SILOTITE PROVES STAR OF THE SHOW

When you’re exhibiting agricultural machinery to hundreds of potential buyers, it stands to reason that you leave nothing to chance. To ensure your product looks the best, you not only need to ensure that it’s clean, tested and fully maintained but also that your choice of consumables won’t let you down. That’s why bpi.agri is pointing to Grasslands and Muck 08 as being a phenomenal success.

At the UK’s premier grass, forage and muck exhibition, bpi.agri’s Silotite bale wrap was very much the product of choice for most of the event’s machinery exhibitors. Those companies who used bpi.agri’s world leading agricultural film reads like a ‘who’s who’ of bale wrapping equipment and included such well respected names as McHale, OPICO, Kverneland and Tanco.

Even the organisers of the show – The Royal Agricultural Society for England (RASE) – opted to use Silotite to wrap scores of bales positioned around the 190 acre Grasslands’ site. Meanwhile, and recognising the popularity of Silotite amongst its members, the National Association of Agricultural Contractors choose to run a prize draw with a pallet of the bale wrap as an incentive to draw people on to its stand.

Aside from the impressive popularity of its products with fellow exhibitors, bpi.agri also enjoyed a highly successful appearance in its own right. The company’s stand was busy on both days of the event, thanks in part to the unveiling of two new products – SilotitePro and Baletite – as well as many initiatives which included a prize draw, a special press briefing and free advice on recycling balewrap, not to mention lunchtime entertainment from Juggler Mark Abbott from the Street Entertainers Group.

Commenting on the event, Louise Yates, bpi.agri’s Marketing Manager, said: “As a business, bpi.agri prides itself on its understanding of farmers and agricultural contractors and on developing products that are perfectly aligned to their needs. Events like Grasslands and Muck 08 are essential to our continuing success in this area as they allow us to get out there and meet end-users face-to-face.

“We’re also delighted that our Silotite product was so widely used by fellow exhibitors and even by the event organisers. There can be no better testament to a product’s quality and reliability than a manufacturer choosing to use it when their own machinery is under the spotlight.”
