FREVA Flame Retardent Film

We at Bpi Agri are proud of our history of introducing new films onto the market - films which have been proven to benefit the grower. After years of research we are pleased to announce the latest film to come from our product development team, Visqueen FREVA, a polyethylene, flame retardant film. Developed for use as a polytunnel cover where public access is applicable and as a cover for retail areas.

Visqueen FREVA is a superb alternative to PVC flame retardant films. Certified to meet the rigorous requirements of BS 7837 : 1996. It is an excellent product not only for horticultural retailers but also large commercial growers. Obvious advantages of Visqueen FREVA are the high light transmission levels and enhanced diffusion, essential for plant quality - of course in combination with the flame retardant characteristic.

Tests indicate that the flame retardant additives will have no adverse effects on the weathering characteristics of the polyethylene film. Our aim is to provide Visqueen FREVA in a 3 season quality depending on country and climatic conditions.
